An artist’s statement

Each piece draws inspiration from textures in the natural world surrounding my studio.

All of the artisan jewelry in my studio is handcrafted by me with love and attention to craftsmanship, design, and comfort.

My collection of 2026 woven gemstone creations reflects the beauty of the southwest: deep colors, repetitive shapes, and rocky terrain.

My modern pearl designs for this year break free of the pearl jewelry tradition: Bold color silks, dynamic and unpredictable shapes, and earrings that are more “cousins” than “sisters”.
